Dijon Salad Dressing Recipes

Don't think the Dijon Salad Dressing is for only salads. These Dijon mustard style dressings make fabulous basting sauces for grilled chicken and pork. The honey Dijon mustard dressing I just had the other day at a friends house on grilled chicken. Of course I had to get the recipe from the hostess to share with all of you here on my site. Hope you will enjoy as much as I did. Try the Vinaigrette on spinach, the flavors blends perfectly.

1/4 cup lemon juice

Creamy Honey-Dijon Salad Dressing Recipe

Ingredients:
1-1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons minced onion
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon minced fresh parsley
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Directions:
Blend all ingredients smooth in a blender being sure to stop and scrape down sides now and then.
Pour into a jar with tight cover and chill at least eight hours.
Serve over your favorite mix of salad greens or as a dip for chicken strips.

Tip:

Recipe makes two cups dressing but is easy to cut in half if wanting less. I like to make my dressings in sauces in smaller batches because Tom & I are empty nesters and don't need that much. But when family comes for a visit, the larger batches are perfect.
